Thank you for attending yesterday’s townhall on UN 80. Your concerns were considered at the Staff Union Council meeting today, which has decided to call an Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) on this issue.
The aim of the EGA is to formally record the position of staff and is an important step in our campaign for management and member states to reconsider UN 80 and the impact it will have on this organization.
The EGA will be complementary to the staff survey that will be circulated shortly. The EGA will be held on Thursday 24 July at 1.30 pm via Teams.
Merci d’avoir participé hier à la réunion publique sur l’initiative UN80. Vos préoccupations ont été discutées lors de la réunion du Conseil du Syndicat du personnel d’aujourd’hui, qui a décidé de convoquer une Assemblée générale extraordinaire (AGE) sur cette question.
L’objectif de l’AGE est d’enregistrer formellement la position du personnel et constitue une étape importante dans notre campagne pour que l’administration et les États membres reconsidèrent l’initiative UN80 et l’impact qu’elle aura sur cette organisation.
L’AGE s’ajoutera l’enquête auprès du personnel qui sera diffusée prochainement.
