Dear colleagues,
In mid-July, the Staff Union launched a humanitarian collection for Venezuela following the deadly earthquakes of 24 June. Thanks to your participation, we are pleased to inform you that a total of CHF 11,693 was collected, to which the Staff Union added CHF 10,000 from its reserves.
The funds were donated to the Venezuela Humanitarian Fund, and USG Tom Fletcher kindly sent us a thank-you letter expressing his gratitude to everyone who contributed, with a link to monitor how and where the funds are being used.
In turn, we thank all who donated for their generosity and solidarity.

À la mi-juillet, le Syndicat du personnel a lancé une collecte humanitaire en faveur du Venezuela, à la suite des séismes meurtriers survenus le 24 juin. Grâce à votre participation, nous avons le plaisir de vous informer qu’un montant total de 11 693 CHF a été récolté, auquel le Syndicat du personnel a ajouté 10 000 CHF de ses propres fonds.
Les fonds ont été versés au Fonds humanitaire pour le Venezuela, et le Secrétaire général adjoint, Tom Fletcher, nous a adressé une lettre de remerciement dans laquelle il exprime sa gratitude à toutes les personnes ayant contribué à cette collecte et partage un lien internet permettant de suivre comment et où les fonds sont utilisés.
À notre tour, nous remercions chaleureusement toutes celles et ceux qui ont fait un don pour leur générosité et leur solidarité.
