As you may be aware, we have lost 11 colleagues in the current conflict in Gaza. These staff, as you may have read in the media, have gone out of their way to protect the civilian population, turning their schools into shelters and doing their best to cater to their needs. For their heroic deeds, they have paid the ultimate price, with their lives.

In order to experss solidarity with our colleagues and their families in Gaza, we are organizing, together with the staff or other international organizations in Geneva, a short ceremony on the Place des Nations, this Thursday at 1 p.m. There will be brief speeches on the lives and work of these colleagues, as well as a readout of their names and a minute of silence.
