We would like to share with you a letter sent by CCISUA, the staff union federation to which the Staff Coordinating Council belongs, calling on the Secretary-General to reverse a decision to outsource our pension fund investments to Wall Street.

We have serious concerns with this move given the performance of other pension funds that have gone this way and the commissions and fees that would be involved

Speaking at the meeting will be Pedro Guazo, who is in charge of investments at the pension fund as Representative of the Secretary-General, as well as Toru Shindo, the Chief Investment Officer.

Colleagues who have been following issues related to the fund’s investments will also be present.
