You may find through this link a letter sent by the staff unions of the UN to the staff of the ICRC following the brutal attack on their staff that left six dead and two missing. The reply from the ICRC Director-General can also be found here.

It is a sad fact that humanitarian workers, whether from the UN or other organizations, are now seen as a target.
