Townhall on the new Swiss nationality law – Friday 6 February, 12.30 p.m.
February 4, 2015

Listen to a recording of this meeting.

As of 2016, a new law on Swiss nationality (read more about it here) will prevent holders of a carte de légitimation, be they staff, spouses or children, from applying for Swiss nationality, regardless of years spent in Switzerland.

In order to better hear your concerns, answer your questions and explain how the staff unions of the international organizations in Geneva are intending to approach this issue, we, together with the ILO staff union, are organizing a townhall on the subject this Friday, 6 February, from 12.30 to 2 p.m. in Room 26 (1st floor, new building).

The keynote speaker will be Maître Yves Rausis, an expert on Swiss immigration law.

English and French interpretation will be provided, generously funded by the ILO staff union. We look forward to seeing you there.
