Since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis, many of you have contacted us to enquire about actions in solidarity with the local Geneva community.

To this end, in the beginning of May, the Staff Coordinating Council organized a collection to raise funds for the Association genevoise Partage, the main food bank in the Canton of Geneva which is involved in the distribution of food to  the needy.

The Association is organizing two food collection days at supermarkets on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November, and is looking for approximately 1000 volunteers to help distribute food packages and to encourage people doing their shopping to buy dried food and hygiene products for donation.

Depuis le début de la crise du Covid-19, nombreux d’entre vous nous ont contactés pour se renseigner sur les actions de solidarité avec la communauté genevoise locale.

A cet effet, le Conseil de coordination a organisé une collecte pour venir en aide à l’Association genevoise Partage, qui est la principale banque alimentaire du canton de Genève chargée d’assurer la distribution de nourriture aux personnes dans le besoin.

L’Association organise deux journées de collecte de nourriture dans les supermarchés le vendredi 27 et le samedi 28 novembre. L’Association est à la recherche d’environ 1000 bénévoles pour aider à la distribution des colis alimentaires et encourager les personnes qui font leurs courses à acheter des aliments secs et des produits d’hygiène à donner.
